Low vision is reduced vision due to eye disease such as macular degeneration (ARMD) or diabetic retinopathy.

• We have simple low vision aids available in our office such as magnifiers and strong reading glasses.

• We are also very lucky to have the Low Vision Clinic at the Optometry School at the University of Waterloo to give more assistance to those individuals who would benefit from more sophisticated visual aids

• The CNIB at Allen Square on King Street in Kitchener also has wonderful helpful aids for low vision patients
